SIZING

Our beautiful clothes are carefully made of full weaves or a combination of varying commercial fabrics with weave accents. Sizes sometimes vary depending on the nature of material used indicated on the product details. Some are stretchy and less fitting, and some are not. As much as possible, we standardize our sizing following the size chart below.

Womens

Mens

We don’t follow US retail sizing. With US sizing as reference, our small is size 4, medium is size 6, large is size 8 and x-large is size 10.

When uncertain, we suggest that it’s best to measure up and compare with the measurement specs we have provided in the size chart for each style found in the product page.

We also honor that we all come in different shapes and sizes. For unique body types, we would love to tailor fit something for you. There’s always a way to wear a weave everyday. You may always customize our designs to your size and have it Made to Measure.

If you need guidance regarding sizing, please reach out to our customer service team at support@anthillfabricgallery.com

CARE & REPAIR

All ANTHILL items are made of artisanal hands using hand- loomed fabrics as the focal material. Every piece goes through a slow and rigorous production process. As it is handmade, each weave is unique and you might find inconsistencies on the fabric. We trust that you understand the intricacies of every weave and find beauty in the imperfections.

All weaves used in our apparel line are test washed based on color fastness and shrinkage. As most of these fabrics are a blend of cotton and polyester, they are safe to be machine-washed. If unsure, always play safe and go with hand wash.

WASHING. You may hand wash or machine wash your apparel weaves in cold water using mild detergent at low spin cycle. Hang the clothes to air dry. Zero waste weaves and weaves in natural fiber must be hand washed in cold water.

IRONING. Always set your iron in low to medium heat. Use a spray bottle and spray water to straighten out the wrinkles. Turn the garment inside out when ironing.

PRICING

ANTHILL was founded because we wanted to be able to preserve our weaving culture and provide sustainable livelihood by making weaves available for everyday and contemporary wear. We provide fair wage among our community partners while ensuring that our prices remain accessible and reasonable.

Our online store ships internationally but we also have weave partners in change and stockists from around the globe. Our pricing for our international stockist vary from our local pricing as it takes into consideration the logistical and overhead costs incurred as we bring our weaves closer to the rest of the world.

WEAVES AND COLORS

Our beautiful clothes are mostly made of hand-woven fabrics from upcycled thread that our partner weaving community purchases per kilo. These are overruns and reject thread cones from multinational thread companies in the Philippines. Our Master Weavers spool them into new thread for weft and design their own combinations based on the colors available. With this, each fabric comes in very limited quantities. We usually are only able to produce at maximum 10 pcs of one style using the same fabric. That’s how special our weaves are and that’s how special you are.

We may reweave certain favorite fabrics but most often than not, the colors would no longer be the exact match. When we have volume orders with particular color specification, we buy brand new thread to ensure we are able to supply the order with a consistent color. We do our best to capture the exact color of our weaves in our product photos however there might be slight variation in the actual color depending on your display or screen settings.

Our zero waste fabrics used in our Pamana Collection are made from remnant fabrics gathered from end cuts of commercial production. These are cut into strips and upcycled into a new fabric. We take pride in this textile innovation and we continue to work on being able to produce more sustainable materials for you. As these fabrics come from scraps, clothes from this collection come in one of a kind pieces only woven especially for you.
